All housing and pull bar end cap screws have been switched from the stainless steel #6×5/8 Phillips/Flathead to the custom powder coated to match #6×3/4 Tek Philips Screws! We have installed screen doors in Malibu for many years. The climate is beautiful and the weather is sunny and foggy. A lot of salt air breezes through the open doors of these homes and mansions.

Recently A customer called and wanted to replace all of her sliding screen doors in her Malibu beach house. Her existing screen doors all of them facing the ocean had been affected severely by the sea salt and did not slide properly and needed to be replaced.

She ordered 7 heavy duty screen doors with unbreakable metal bottom ball-bearing wheels and the same spring loaded wheels on top. These wheels are lubricated with grease internally to withstand the Malibu salt air and corrosion.

She ordered a heavy duty mesh “TuffScreen” pet light screen in charcoal fiberglass for her screen doors

French Door Kit Extension
Are you aware that Position Holders (French Door Kits) are
available to hold a pull bar in its desired stopping place. Simply install one at the bottom of the pull bar and one at the top of the pull bar, drill your 3/16″ hole for the pin to slide into place and “voila” your screen magically stays in place! The French Door kits pictured above are for 84-98″” in height applications. French Door Kits are available in all standard colors except wood
veneer and anodized.
